Hip pain assessment includes specialist evaluation of hip pain, stiffness, walking difficulty, groin pain and reduced mobility. The consultation may include clinical examination, walking assessment and review of X-rays, MRI scans or previous reports. The aim is to identify the exact cause of hip pain and decide whether non-surgical treatment, injection therapy, hip preservation discussion or surgery is required.
