Osteoporosis Assessment

Osteoporosis assessment includes evaluation of low bone density, age-related bone weakness, fracture risk, and risk factors for future fractures. This assessment is important for patients who have had a low-energy fracture, have been told they have weak bones, or are at risk due to age, menopause, poor nutrition, low vitamin D, previous fracture, or long-term medication use.
