Hip Replacement Surgery

Hip replacement surgery may be considered for patients with advanced hip arthritis, hip stiffness, avascular necrosis or painful loss of hip function. Hip arthritis can cause groin pain, difficulty walking, trouble climbing stairs and reduced ability to perform daily activities. Treatment is planned after assessing hip joint damage, pain severity, mobility, bone quality, general health and functional goals.
